Renowned Manchester band Sea Fever have dropped their new track, ‘Loose Cut’. It’s a gripping, technicolor track dominated by big, punchy synths and a creativity that sounds freeing and enlightening. The musical landscape the band have employed is rhythmic and deeply textured, with warm bass synths giving way to a kaleidoscope of countermelodies and vocal interjections. Vocalist Cassidy says that the track is “about a fractious and unpredictable state of mind.  It was written as a series of one-liners, which seemed to suit the energy of the track.  The music has a lot to say and kind of speaks for itself, so I peppered it with just a few of my own thoughts.” You can check out Sea Fever’s previous album, Folding Lines, now and catch them live around the UK in 2025. -Dan Peeke.
